Palace of Culture and Science

The Palace of Culture and Science ((ポーランド語:Pałac Kultury i Nauki), also abbreviated ''PKiN'') is a building in Warsaw, Poland that is a seat of various companies, public institutions, such as cinemas, theaters, libraries, sports clubs, universities (including Collegium Civitas), scientific institutions and authorities of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It was designed by Soviet architect Lev Rudnev in Socialist Classicist style inspired by Polish historicism and American art deco high rise buildings and constructed in 1955.
The Palace of Culture and Science is the tallest building in Poland and the eighth tallest building in the European Union. It is 〔 tall, which includes a 43-metre high spire.
